🏡October Market Update!🥰In October there were a total of 604 homes sold in the Waterloo Region. Total residential sales in October included 383 detached homes (up 15.4 per cent from October 2023), and 104 townhouses (down 20.0 per cent). Sales also included 66 condominium units (up 1.5 per cent) and 49 semi-detached homes (up 53.1 per cent).We could be on track to a more balanced market. ⚖️Have a look at the next two photos to see the past trends.Photo 2: Median Sale Price. Home prices sky rocketed in February 2022 and then we saw a quick correction. Fast forward to 2024 we had our typical spring market followed by a bit of a decline this past summer. In the last month we saw an uptick in home prices . 👍The last photo shows inventory; You can see the low supply of homes for sale in 2022 and over the last few years we’ve had more and more homes come to the market.
